MAT FAQ's

The courses are robust and require about five (5-10) hours of classwork each week. Courses are instructor led. You do not have to be online at any certain time but will be expected to meet the due dates for each week's activities.

Webinars are delivered live/ in real-time and are typically not recorded for access at a later date.

Courses and webinars are currently being offered free of charge due to the pandemic and the effects on state fish and wildlife agency budgets. We do not want cost to be a barrier to leadership and professional development.

If you need to drop a course or webinar please email amyers@fishwildlife.org at least 48 hours before the start time so your spot can be filled.

While courses are open to some state fish and wildlife agency partners, state fish and wildlife agency employees do receive preference for available seats in each course. Students from partner agencies may be waitlisted to allow more space for state agency employees.
